Positive: Beautiful cottage in a little village. So peaceful. The cottage was lovely, open fire was great. Log burner in the kitchen was an added bonus. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It felt so homely and we really didn't want to leave. Owners very easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Positive: 3 bedrooms (albeit one in the loft space with a low ceiling and no door - ideal for the youngster in our group). Sensible price. Nice walks available without needing to drive. Good base for exploring Snowdonia. Big kitchen/diving area. Well equipped. Easy parking in the road. Nice garden. Good local cafe a short walk away.
Negative: Not sure of the need to speak to the owner before going (I’ve never had this request before) - it not that easy as either he was working or I was, but we got there in the end. We didn’t spend much time in the house, so didn’t familiarise ourselves with the heating or hot water, meaning it was a little cold and we ran out of hot water for each of us to have a bath.
Summary: A good base for exploring. Allow time for getting to grips with the heating.

Positive: Lovely big kitchen that was very well supplied with all that you might need even including bits for baking. Comfortable bedrooms. In a lovely location right on the mountainside. Had a great conversation with the owner who was very helpful. I enjoyed looking through the books on the bookcase and we watched the Wimbledon final as well as the Euros on the TV.
Negative: The only thing that might be improved was the towels provided for showering/bathing were on the small side, even for those of us who are a more 'regular' size. We made it work though!
Summary: Loved our stay in the Welsh mountains, thanks very much for having us.

Positive: breakfast N/A Ty Gwynn is ideally situated to have day trips both to the coast and Snowdonia.
Negative: as senior citizens we found the staircase to the loft conversion very steep. would recommend a stair rail or handle to hold on to

Positive: Beautifully situated property. At home you will find everything you need, great equipped kitchen. Don't worry if you've forgotten something, you will surely find it here. Care for cleanliness is definitely an advantage of this place. Very comfortable bed, cozy atmosphere, working 2 fire places. Lovely big garden. If you are looking for the perfect place for mountain hiking stop looking, this is your place. I highly recommend. Please note that dogs are not welcome on sofas and upstairs.
